Sweet Cinnamon Egg White Omelet

It seems so simple but it’s soo good. Perfect way to switch up a savory breakfast to fix a sweet craving you may be having. I don’t know if this is weird but I usually like my sweet meals for breakfast and dessert and preworkout… Then all of my other meals (lunch, midday meal, dinner) are savory. Rarely do I have a savory breakfast any more :p Not complaining!

Serves: 1

  •  5 egg whites
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 stevia packet

Mix the ingredients together. You can do this numerous ways. Use a magic bullet, whisk it, shake it in a blender bottle… etc. I shake mine in a jar because I’m lazy. Anyways. Spray a medium pan with nonstick spray, pour the mixture in, and cook on a medium heat. I like to cover the pan to help it cook evenly. When it’s almost cooked, fold, and let the whites fully cook. Aaaaaaaand, done!

I topped mine with a blackberry and cottage cheese mixture. I microwaved 1/2 cup frozen blackberries for 40 seconds so they were still slightly frozen, then mixed it with 1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese.

I still found the egg taste overwhelming, even with 3 stevia packets and another on top! Is there ant way to mask it more?

It’s still going to be fairly egg-y. If anything, the cinnamon would mask it more than the stevia would! :) I like that you can taste both! :p

    I eat this everyday.
    Without Stevia.

    Cinnamon, and egg whites
Sometimes I add vanialla protien powder.

Great with blueberries, add them when you cook the egg and they explode with flavour when you cut into the omlete.
Even a quarter of a frozen banana, defrosts in pan and adds sweetness.

Tastes to die for with almond cream on the top!!

Its awesome!! But I mix mine differently, first I get a small bowl grab two or more eggs and I toss the cinnamon till it mixes dark then add some sugar, granulated , two dabs of syryp and last but not least butter about two table spoons of melted butter and ohhh haha I wish I had this as a child cause I know it would of got me out of bed quickly.
