It seems so simple but it’s soo good. Perfect way to switch up a savory breakfast to fix a sweet craving you may be having. I don’t know if this is weird but I usually like my sweet meals for breakfast and dessert and preworkout… Then all of my other meals (lunch, midday meal, dinner) are savory. Rarely do I have a savory breakfast any more :p Not complaining!
- 5 egg whites
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 stevia packet
Mix the ingredients together. You can do this numerous ways. Use a magic bullet, whisk it, shake it in a blender bottle… etc. I shake mine in a jar because I’m lazy. Anyways. Spray a medium pan with nonstick spray, pour the mixture in, and cook on a medium heat. I like to cover the pan to help it cook evenly. When it’s almost cooked, fold, and let the whites fully cook. Aaaaaaaand, done!
I topped mine with a blackberry and cottage cheese mixture. I microwaved 1/2 cup frozen blackberries for 40 seconds so they were still slightly frozen, then mixed it with 1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese.
