Breakfast: sugar cookie oatmeal topped with sugar cookie B Up bar, sliced banana, peanut butter marshmallow cellucor protein drizzle, and vanilla maple arctic zero ice cream #winterwonderland. Perfect instance to use my favorite phrase – “It’s funny cause it’s healthy.” And I’m loving these new B Up bars!! They’re along the same concept as quest bars, but they’re more pillowy and airy. I like it. They’re at some GNCs but not all! If you’re in the Atlanta area, the only place I’ve found them is the Lenox GNC. The oatmeal though; haven’t made this since last winter and woa wow wow. Original idea of steeping tea for oats is from chocolatecoveredkatie I think. It’s particularly amazing with this tea and chai tea. So much yes.
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 bags of sugar cookie sleigh ride tea (celestial seasonings brand)
- 1/2 cup raw oats
- 1 stevia packet
Microwave the almond milk for 90 seconds. Steep the sugar cookie sleigh ride tea in it for 3-4 mins, squeezing out all da juicyness. Remove the tea bags, mix the milk, raw oats, and stevia packet. Microwave until all the liquid is cooked off, stirring often. Nom.
