Sauces Galore!

I was told by someone that they noticed that I “enjoy saucy foods.” It kind of made me stop and ask….. what? No I don’t? Do I? Then I looked at my page and realized how much I top my meals with random mixed sauces! It’s easy to cater to cravings by just throwing a ton of spices and things together and putting it on your meat or veggies :) I just listen to my cravings and make it happen haha.

There’s a few I’ve really liked and then make again, but eventually I forget about them because I find a new favorite! So I’ve created a list of my favorites (partially for myself :p) but also so that you all can try them! I feel like these alone can help make the same ol’ boring food “new” again.

 

Sweet Dijon Sauce
1 TBSP sugar free syrup and 1/2 TBSP Dijon mustard

Sweet Chili Miso Dijon Sauce
1 TBSP Dijon mustard, 2 TBSP sugar free syrup, 1/2 TBSP miso paste, and 1/4 tsp chili powder

Sweet Chili Soy Sauce
1 TBSP braggs liquid aminos, 1 TBSP sugar free maple syrup, and 1/8 tsp chili powder

Clean Honey Mustard
1 TBSP Dijon mustard, 1 TBSP vinegar, and 1.5 TBSP stevia

Avocado Tahini Cream
1 TBSP tahini, 1/4 avocado, 1 TBSP unsweetened almond milk, and 3-5 stevia drops

Sweet Balsamic Mustard Cream
2 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 2 tsp Jack Daniels no 7 mustard, 1/2 TBSP balsamic vinegar, 1/2 TBSP water, and 8 stevia drops

Sweet Balsamic Horseradish Mustard Cream
2 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1 TBSP sugar free syrup, 1/2 TBSP balsamic vinegar, and 1/2 TBSP horseradish mustard

Sweet Balsamic Basil Mustard Cream
2 TBSP plain greek yogurt, 1 TBSP sugar free syrup, 1 TBSP yellow mustard, 1/2 TBSP balsamic vinegar, and 1 tsp basil.

Lemon Garlic Mustard Cream
2 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 TBSP coarse ground mustard, 1/2 tsp garlic, and a squeeze of lemon

Peanut Pumpkin Fluff
2 TBSP pumpkin puree, 2 TBSP peanut flour, and 5-7 stevia drops.

Sweet Lemon Vinaigrette
1 TBSP Dijon mustard, juice from 1/4 lemon, 6-7 lemon stevia drops, 1/2 TBSP vinegar, and thyme to taste

Tangy Peanut Sauce
1 TBSP peanut flour, 1 TBSP apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp water, 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, dash of black pepper, and 2-3 stevia drops

Garlic “Cheese” Sauce
1 TBSP nutritional yeast, 1 TBSP almond milk, garlic to taste, and paprika to taste

“Cheesy” Maple Spread
3 TBSP lowfat cottage cheese, 1 TBSP nutritional yeast, and 1/2 TBSP sugar free syrup blended

Peanut Curry Sauce
2 TBSP peanut flour, 1/4 tsp curry powder, and unsweetened almond milk until desired consistency

Sweet and Sour Orange Sauce
2.5 TBSP water, 1 TBSP vinegar, 1/2 TBSP bragg’s liquid aminos, 2 tsp tomato paste, 25 orange stevia drops, and 1/8 tsp xanthan gum

Sweet Cucumber Dill Dressing
3 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 tsp dill, 2 TBSP diced cucumber, and 5 stevia drops

Sweet Lemon Dill Dressing
3 TBSP plain greek yogurt, 1/2 tsp dill, 1 TBSP unsweetened almond milk, and 8-10 lemon stevia drops

or

3 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 tsp dill, juice from 1/4 lemon, and 8-10 stevia drops

Sweet and Sour Lemon Flavor (can be added to things like rice, meat, etc)
juice from 1/3 lemon, 1/4 tsp ground mustard, 1/8 tsp turmeric, AND 5-7 lemon stevia drops

Coconut Soy Avocado Mash
1/4 avocado mashed, 1 TBSP unsweetened coconut, 2 tsp bragg’s liquid aminos, and almond milk until desired consistency

Maple Chipotle Avocado Mash
1/4 avocado mashed, 1 TBSP sugar free syrup, and 1/2 TBSP smoky chipotle mustard

“Cheesy” Avocado Cream
1/4 avocado blended, 1 TBSP nutritional yeast, 1.5 TBSP unsweetened almond milk, and 1/2 tsp braggs liquid aminos

Spicy Dijonnaise Dipping Sauce
2 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 2 tsp dijon mustard, and 1 tsp sriracha

Maple Jalapeño Mustard Cream
2 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 2 TBSP sugar free syrup, 1/2 TBSP jalapeño mustard, and 1 TBSP almond milk

Pumpkin Chili Sauce (to stir into a stirfry)
1/2 cup tomato sauce, 1/4 cup pumpkin purée, 2 TBSP apple cider vinegar, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp chili powder, and 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Sweet Pumpkin Chili Dijon Sauce
1/4 cup pumpkin purée, 3 TBSP sugar free syrup, 1 TBSP Dijon mustard, and 1/2 tsp chili powder

Orange Cranberry Raspberry Compote
1/3 cup cranberries, 1/4 cup raspberries, 15 orange stevia drops, and 1 TBSP stevia microwaved for 2 minutes and mashed

Protein Fluff (sweet, for dessert-type foods)
3 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 scoop protein powder, and stevia to taste

Vanilla Pumpkin Protein Fluff (sweet, for dessert-type foods)
2 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1 TBSP pumpkin purée, 1 TBSP vanilla whey protein, 1/8 tsp pumpkin pie spice, and 12 vanilla stevia drops

Vanilla Red Velvet Protein Fluff (for dessert-type foods)
3 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1 TBSP vanilla whey protein, 1/2 TBSP CocoCardio, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, and 1 stevia packet

Caramel Cookies and Cream Protein Sauce (for dessert-type foods)
3 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1 TBSP cookies and cream whey protein, 1/2 TBSP walden farms caramel sauce, and 5-7 stevia drops

Peanut Protein Fluff (sweet, for dessert-type foods)
3 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1 TBSP peanut flour, 1 TBSP peanut butter marshmallow whey protein, 1 TBSP almond milk, and 12 English toffee stevia drops

Cookie Dough Glaze (for dessert-type foods)
2 TBSP unsweetened almond milk, 2 tsp sugar free syrup, and 1 TBSP melted raw cashew butter

Maple Cinnamon Glaze (for dessert-type foods)
3 TBSP sugar free syrup, 1/8 tsp cinnamon, and 1 TBSP cinnamon swirl whey protein (or vanilla)

Orange Ginger Tahini Dijon Dressing
1 TBSP tahini, 1/2 TBSP Dijon mustard, 1 TBSP water, 3 orange stevia drops, and 1/8 tsp ginger

Sweet Walnut Cream
1/2 TBSP raw walnut butter, 1 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1 TBSP unsweetened almond milk, and 3 stevia drops

Sweet Hazelnut Cinnamon Mustard
1.5 TBSP yellow mustard, 20 hazelnut stevia drops, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Spicy Curry Peanut Butter Sauce
1 TBSP Heat is On peanut butter, 2 TBSP unsweetened almond milk, 1/8 tsp curry powder, and 5 stevia drops

Tex Mex Cream
2 TBSP salsa, 2 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 TBSP stevia, and 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Sweet Chili Cream
3 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1 TBSP sugar free syrup, 1/2 tsp chili powder, and 5-7 vanilla stevia drops

Lemon Maple Horseradish Mustard Cream
1 TBSP horseradish mustard, 2 TBSP sugar free syrup, juice from 1/4 lemon, and 1 TBSP plain Greek yogurt

Jalepeno Lime Mustard Sauce
2 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 TBSP jalapeño mustard, 2 TBSP juice from a lime, 10 stevia drops, and a dash of Ms Dash fiesta lime seasoning

Sweet Cinnamon Smokey Onion Mustard Cream
2 TBSP plain greek yogurt, 2 TBSP sugar free syrup, 2 tsp smokey onion mustard, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Onion Dijon Apple Cream
2 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1 TBSP no sugar added apple butter, 1/2 TBSP Dijon mustard, 1/2 TBSP unsweetened almond milk, dash of onion powder, and 5-7 stevia drops

Hickory Apple Spice Sauce
1 TBSP unsweetened applesauce, 1 TBSP unsweetened apple butter, 1 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1 tsp liquid smoke hickory flavor, 8-10 stevia drops, 1/8 tsp barbecue seasoning, and dashes of cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon

Creamy Orange Sauce
2 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1 TBSP mild and creamy Dijon mustard, 1 TBSP sugar free orange marmalade, 1 TBSP unsweetened almond milk, and 5-7 stevia drops

Chai Spice Mix
2:2:2:1 mix of cardamom, cloves, ginger, cinnamon (1/4 tsp cardamom, 1/4 tsp cloves, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1/8 tsp cinnamon)

Egg Nog Flavor
2:1:1 mix of brandy extract, rum extract, nutmeg (1/4 tsp brandy extract, 1/8 tsp rum extract, 1/8 tsp nutmeg)

Pumpkin Spice Mix
4:2:1:1:1 mix of cinnamon, ginger, cloves, allspice, nutmeg (1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1/8 tsp cloves, 1/8 tsp allspice, 1/8 tsp nutmeg)

Gingerbread Mix
2:2:1:1:1 mix of cinnamon, ginger, cloves, allspice, nutmeg (1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1/8 tsp cloves, 1/8 tsp allspice, 1/8 tsp nutmeg)

      It’s usually in the international aisle with things like soy sauce and rice vinegar, or it’s in the health food aisle. Not all grocery stores will have it though.

    I just made like 3 of these to go along with my dinner. All unhealthy restaurant cravings GONE. You’re the best.
