Okay. Okay. MAKE THESE. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, or if you need a quick preworkout snack, this is PERFECTLY DELICIOUS. It makes you feel guilty, BUT IT’S GUILT-FREE. Wheeeee.
- 1/2 scoop peanut butter marshmallow whey protein (cellucor brand)
- 2 TBSP unsweetened almond milk
- 4-6 stevia drops
- 1 cup puffed wheat (or puffed rice)
Mix the whey protein, almond milk, and stevia (if desired) until it’s a thick, even consistency. Add in the cup of puffed wheat and stir the mixture together until all of the puffed wheat is coated with the protein mix. You could eat it like this now, but OBVIOUSLY it’s better when you shape it like a rice krispie treat! ;p I shaped mine then let it sit in the fridge for about an hour while I ran some errands. It thickened up even more. Came home, devoured, and went to the gym. Soooo good.
