Meatza

Fun fact, I’ve wanted to make this for over a year….!? I don’t know why but I’ve been too lazy to…. Shame. Now I feel like an idiot because this was amaaaaazing. And like. 1/8 pizza is ~125 calories which is pretty dang amazing.

Serves: 4

Meatza Base

  • 1 lb 99% lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup all natural salsa
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup raw old fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp basil

 

Tomato Sauce

  • 3/4 cup hunts all natural tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil

Toppings

  • 1 cup chopped red and yellow bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 4 pieces of turkey bacon

Preheat the oven to 350F. Make the meatza base by mixing all of the listed ingredients in a bowl. Spray a baking tray with nonstick spray. Spread your meat mixture on the tray, forming a larrrrge round base. Then bake at 350F for 25 minutes. Make the tomato sauce by mixing the tomato sauce, garlic powder, oregano, and basil. Spread this on your baked meat base. Add whatever toppings you want on top! I used 1 cup chopped red and yellow bell pepper, 1/2 cup chopped onion, and 4 pieces of turkey bacon that was chopped. Bake another 10-15 minutes at 350F. Slice into 8 pieces and nom!
