Maple Bacon Brownie Oatmeal

This was one of those meals that just left me speechless. It was incredibly good and the chocolate flavor was literally. perfect. I was expecting plain ol’ chocolate oatmeal but it was so perfectly rich it was like a brownie. Good lord.

Serves: 1

  • 1/3 cup raw old fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 pieces of cooked turkey bacon
  • 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 stevia packets
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp maple extract

In a bowl, combine all of your ingredients. Make sure the turkey bacon is ripped up! Stir together, then microwave for 2 minutes.

I served mine in a baked kabocha squash, topped with a cinnamon swirl protein drizzle (2 TBSP cinnamon swirl protein by cellucor and 2 TBSP unsweetened almond milk), frozen cherries, and more turkey bacon.
