I saw @_carlavictoria make some lemon shortbread oats and knew I HAD to have some myself. So I was inspired to make this and man oh man I did not regret it. Definitely one to make again!
- 1/2 cup raw old fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 TBSP chia seeds
- 1 TBSP sugar free syrup
- 1/2 tsp imitation butter extract
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- 1/4 tsp lemon extract
- 1 stevia packet
In a bowl, mix all of the ingredients. Place in the fridge overnight so the oats soak and the chia seeds plump up. Enjoy the next morning!
The next morning, I also added a cinnamon swirl protein cream (1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1 TBSP cinnamon swirl whey protein by cellucor, 1 stevia packet, and unsweetened almond milk to thin) and vanilla almond quest bar chunks.
