This served was served with a big ol bowl of garlic onion faux-tatoesss. I forgot about the voluminous magic of cauliflower. Tastes and feels just like mashed taters. Yeeeee!
- 1 head (8 cups) of raw cauliflower
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- black pepper
- nutritional yeast (Optional)
Chop and steam cauliflower. Steam it a lottttt so it’s crazy soft. Then purée it (I used my handblender) with the unsweetened almond milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. I also like to add nutritional yeast to add a cheesy taste sometimes! I would add 6-8 TBSP to really get the cheesy taste.
I served this with chili maple blackened mahi mahi, turkey bacon, and brussel sprouts.
