Chai Tea Oatmeal

Hey look. I made a thing. Chai tea oatmeal topped with sliced pear, cinnamon, and vanilla maple arctic zero ice cream. Tonight, I am having a new year’s celebration at my house with Jesse and friends! I am excited. We’ve got a few more friends coming than normal, so yayyyyy. Bigger house, bigger crowd, naturally. What’s NOT fun is that Jesse and I had a water pipe burst at some point within the last 5-6 days… We didn’t notice for a few days… Whoops. We thought it was from the rain we had ahah. So. Now we have two options: have no running water for our party and guests, or have a huge puddle of water in the yard that MAY or may not flood and drown the chickens next door. Ummmm…… Help.

In other news, NEW YEARS TONIGHT. I want to write another post like I did last year for the New Year! Hoping to write up those thoughts soon :)

Serves: 1

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 bags of chai tea
  • 1/2 cup raw oats
  • 1 stevia packet

Microwave the almond milk for 90 seconds. Steep the chai tea in it (I used Tazo) for 3-4 mins, squeezing out all da juicyness.  Remove the tea bags, mix the milk, raw oats, and stevia packet. Microwave until all the liquid is cooked off, stirring often. Then eat!
