In 2011 I was overweight (okay technically “obese”) and dealing with depression, yet again. I grew up overweight, repeatedly succumbing to starvation diets, fad diets, and overall poor health choices. One day I made the decision to actually learn about food & get active; that brings us to the present day.
Sitting at a healthy weight, I now understand the importance of finding delicious, good-for-you dessert alternatives in order to maintain a balanced, active lifestyle that doesn’t involve starving yourself of the things you love.
