Apple Pie Oatmeal

Another nearly empty jar of nut butter means another dessert of oatmeal in a jar! This dessert was in an almost empty sunflower seed butter jar :D Apple pie oats with this nut butter was great. Comfort food for sure.

Serves: 1

  • 1/2 cup raw old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 TBSP unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp caramel extract
  • 1/4 tsp apple pie spice
  • 1 stevia packet
  • 1/2 apple pie quest bar (Optional)

Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl except for the quest bar. Microwave for 2:00-2:30 minutes. Then break the quest bar into pieces and swirl it into the oatmeal.

I also topped my oatmeal with a maple cinnamon protein glaze (2 TBSP plain Greek yogurt, 1 TBStbsp cinnamon swirl whey protein, 2 TBSP sugar free syrup, and a few dashes of cinnamon).
